David Pearson MBE — David Pearson MBE, ICB Non-Executive Chair

David Pearson has 49 years’ experience working within the NHS and is currently Non-Executive Chair of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Chair of Reaseheath College in Cheshire.

Throughout his career, he has held a range of clinical, executive and non-executive positions including as the chair of one of the country’s largest integrated health and social care trusts.

He was engaged in mental health services for 39 years, and was part of major transformation programmes involving the development of a modern range of inpatient and community services. David has also held honorary appointments with both Staffordshire and Keele Universities. He has also been active outside of the NHS – serving as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Moorlands Housing for 10 years.

David is a resident of the Staffordshire Moorlands, and in 2010 was awarded an MBE for services to Staffordshire’s mental health services.
