Alcohol Strategy

The Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Integrated Care System (ICS) Alcohol Needs Assessment has been produced, an ICS partnership group formed in response to evidence of increasing harm to population health and wellbeing from alcohol.

The Alcohol Needs Assessment provides valuable insight into how alcohol misuse and dependency is impacting the local population’s health and wellbeing with evidence gathered from data provided by local and national partners, stakeholder views and research.

The findings and recommendations from the needs assessment has been used to inform the development of the ICS Alcohol Strategy which is due to be published in January 2025 by the Drug and Alcohol Partnership.
