Beginning her career as an NHS graduate management trainee, Elizabeth has held several senior management roles in the UK and New Zealand with a focus on quality improvement, population health, operational management and commissioning. Her most recent role was as Director of Operations for Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB and prior to that as the Chief Operating Officer and Place Director for Wiltshire and Bath and North East Somerset.
Before returning to the UK in 2017, Elizabeth spent seven years living in New Zealand, culminating in a role as Executive Director for Planning and Funding. Elizabeth is passionate about quality and is a trained Quality Improvement Advisor. Elizabeth recently completed a PhD on the factors that impact partnership working between health and care organisations, and she is passionate about working in partnership to reduce inequality and support people to live happy and healthy lives.
