David Pearson has over 50 years’ experience working within the NHS and is currently Non-Executive Chair of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB) and joint chair of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership.

Throughout his career he has held a range of clinical, executive and non-executive positions including chair of one of the country’s largest integrated health and social care trusts. He was engaged in mental health services for 39 years and was part of major transformation programmes involving the development of a modern range of inpatient and community services. David has also worked internationally with the Charities Aid Foundation and has held honorary appointments with both Staffordshire and Keele Universities. He has also been active outside of the NHS serving as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Moorlands Housing and as Chair of Reaseheath land based college in Cheshire. David is a resident of the Staffordshire Moorlands, and in 2010 was made an MBE for services to Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent mental health services.
