Profile

Chris is an engineer by profession and alumnus of Harvard Business School. He has dedicated his career to digital transformation across the Health Sciences sector, including software product development within the acute sector and IT services management both in the UK and globally.

Whilst Chris has worked alongside the NHS for decades within the private sector, he only joined the NHS in 2020, in response primarily to the COVID-19 pandemic and recognising the opportunity to accelerate change through digital innovation. During his previous role as Chief Digital and Information Officer at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT), Chris and his Digital team in conjunction with clinical leadership laid the foundations for sustainable digital transformation in line with national planning objectives.
