We know that fewer people with a learning disability, people with autism, and people with Down’s syndrome go to their smear test appointments (also known as cervical screening).

To help us understand why, we have created a short survey and would like to hear from anyone in these communities, as well as parents, carers, and support workers.

The cervical screening survey will be open until 11pm on Sunday 15 March – complete the online cervical screening survey.

The survey asks about experiences, any worries or concerns, access to appointments, and what might make cervical screening feel more comfortable and accessible. Your feedback will help us understand the barriers people face and how we can improve support, so more people feel able and confident to attend their appointments.

We have also created an easy-read leaflet to explain what cervical screening is and what happens at the appointment, so people know what to expect.
